Manchester United, who signed Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham Hotspur on transfer deadline day, have reportedly admitted that they would consider selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester City - for the right price.
City's new owner, Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim, is understood to be prepared to offer the Eastlands club'a big local rivals up to £135million for the Portuguese international.

And David Gill, United's chief executive, told The Sun newspaper: "It would take a huge amount of money to take a player like Ronaldo across the city. But that kind of decision would be up to the owners.

"I can't believe he is serious at those levels and, anyway, we are not looking to sell our best players.

"But ultimately we would discuss any offer with Alex (Ferguson) and the owners, as that sort of money is very large for one person.
