Toon target Zola to fill hotseat

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley made the first moves to replace Keegan by targeting former Chelsea star Gianfranco Zola.
Zola was yesterday interviewed for the vacancy at West Ham, and Spanish pair Jose Antonio Camacho and Marcelino Toral.

But the Daily Mail claims Ashley wants Zola to take over from Keegan in the dugout but will also crucially work with Director of Football, Dennis Wise.

Zola played with Wise at Stamford Bridge and the pair are friends.
