Luka Modric's spell at White Hart Lane could be a brief one, with Juventus keen to sign the Spurs midfielder in January.
The £15m Croatian playmaker has not settled under Juande Ramos' regime and could be offloaded in the New Year.

Modric was a star for Croatia when they beat England twice in the Euro 2008 qualifiers and was one of the best players of the tournament.

But he has so far failed to live up to his reputation with Spurs languishing at the bottom of the Premier League.
