Tottenham Hotspur striker has reportedly revealed that his former club boss Juande Ramos spoke just four words to him in a year.
Bent is quoted in The Sun newspaper as saying: "I've no idea whether Ramos wanted me or not. He said about four words to me in the year he was there.

"But now Harry Redknapp has come in and told me what he wants and I've managed to turn things around and start getting some goals.

"Juande tried to complicate it and change bits and bobs. I kept working and training hard and hoped things would turn around but, unfortunately, they never did."

It is different now for striker Bent, 24. He added: "I'm delighted to have Harry at Tottenham because he is a fantastic manager."
