Manchester United's Carlos Tevez and Liverpool's Javier Mascherano have been named in the Argentina squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Chile.
The duo have been named in coach Alfio Basile's squad alongside fellow Premier League player Pablo Zabaleta of Manchester City.
Basile also named six home-based players in the squad with San Lorenzo quartet Agustin Orion, Cristian Ledesma, Gonzalo
Bergessio and Pablo Barrientos being recognised for their performances for the Apertura leaders.
Velez Sarsfield midfielder Leandro Somoza and Boca Juniors playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme have also been called up.
Meanwhile, Maximiliano Rodriguez has been removed from the squad after he picked up a groin injury during Atletico Madrid's 6-1 defeat to Barcelona at the weekend.
Argentina, third-placed in the South American Qualifying Zone, take on Uruguay on Saturday in Buenos Aires before visiting Chile four days later in Santiago.
