Man City linked to 45 players - van Nistelrooy included

The world's richest club - Manchester City linked have been linked to a staggering 45 transfer targets when the transfer window opens in just over a month's time.
A Sunday newspaper has revealed the incredible 45 names that the Eastlands club have been connected with when the January window opens..

The list is a mix of A-listers and bizarre names and includes previously revealed targets such as Manchester U
nited's Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez and Liverpool's Steven Gerrard.

Barcelona's Thierry Henry, Chelsea's Ashley Cole, John Terry and Wayne Bridge also appear on the list.

Real Madrid's former United frontman Ruud Van Nistelrooy is linked to a move back to Manchester with City, now owned by the mega wealthy Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment, giving manager Mark Hughes arguably the biggest transfer kitty ever.
