Everton are set to make an ambitious £8 million bid for French midfielder Alou Diarra, according to reports.
The former Liverpool youngster, who is now at Bordeaux, is said to be high on David Moyes' summer shopping list.

The Daily Mirror claims that Moyes has been a long-term fan of the midfielder who has made a dozen appearances for the France national side.

It is claimed that chairman Bill Kenwright has told Moyes he has money to spend on improving his squad.
