Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Portsmouth and Aston Villa were all awaiting their UEFA Cup fate on Tuesday.
The four English clubs were waiting to see who they would be pitted against in the group stages of the competition.

Spurs were among the highest-rated teams, being in the top pot alongside the likes of AC Milan, Valencia and Sevilla.

Those in the third pot alongside City were Rosenberg, Feyenoord and Galatasary.

Hertha Berlin and Dinamo Zagreb were among those with Villa and Portsmouth in pot four.

Teams from the same country could not be drawn in the same group.
