Last year's Champions League finalists Chelsea and Manchester United have swept the board at the European Club Footballer awards.
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, defender John Terry and midfielder Frank Lampard were named as the best players for their position with United's Cristiano Ronaldo picking up the gong for top forward.

Ronaldo was also voted as Europe's Club Footballer of the Year for 2008.

United legend Peter Schmeichel handed Cech his award at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, with Terry accepting his from Italian legend Franco Baresi.

Sir Bobby Charlton presented Terry with his trophy before Eusebio took to the stage to hand compatriot Ronaldo his accolade.
