Blackpool are set to break their transfer record for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Rob Edwards.
The 25-year-old will travel to Bloomfield Road on Wednesday to complete a deal thought to be worth around £275,000.

Pool boss Simon Grayson was determined to strengthen his squad following the departure of star duo Wes Hoolahan and Kaspars Gorkss.

Edwards will become Grayson's twelfth signing of the summer.

The Welsh international started his career at Aston Villa before joining Wolves in 2004.

He made his Welsh debut in 2003 in a 4-0 European Championship qualifying victory over Azerbaijan and has gone onto gain 14 caps.

Meanwhile, Paul Dickov appears to have finally rejected an offer from Blackpool in favour of a move to Leicester City.

The veteran striker helped the Seasiders to safety last season whilst on loan, scoring six goals.
