And with Spurs rock bottom of the Premier, Modric has refused to defend his own poor form — blaming it on a slight knee injury he has been carrying.
The midfielder told The Sun: "I am not satisfied with my performances at Tottenham.
"I have to do better and I can do better. The problem has been a knee problem, it's been causing me pain."
