The Warehouse Project has gone from strength to strength since it first took over the disused Boddington's Brewery in 2006.
And two years on, things are showing no signs of slowing as clubbers descended on the current party venue under Piccadilly train station for a sold-out electro extravaganza.

Ibiza DJ and Radio 1 regular Pete Tong - who featured in a huge video projected onto a wall of the former air-raid shelter - headed up the The Essential Mix Party.

It was broadcast live on Radio 1, no doubt leaving those listening at home wishing they were there.

But the highlight of the night was definitely Canadian progressive house producer DJ Deadmau5 (pronounced Dead mouse) who appears on stage in a huge mouse head mask.

Steve Angello - one quarter of popular house DJs and producers Swedish House Mafia - also got everyone going early on in the night with his blend of infectious house music.

The crowds did seem to filter out as the night went on and, surprisingly, there were't as many people craning to get to the front when Pete Tong was on the decks compared with his forerunners.

And completing the bill was progressive and tech house DJ Danny Howells.

The venue, the soundsystem, the atmosphere and the people all blend together to make a great night and there are plenty more coming up.

Highlights of the diverse line-up include The Warehouse Project Live on Saturday October 18 with Dizzee Rascal topping the bill, Friday November 7 is the Bestival Re-Union featuring De La Soul and Saturday November 15 is the Goodgreef 8th Birthday.

Tickets start at £15 and the Warehouse Project runs until New Years Day - visit thewarehouseproject.com for more information.
