Morecambe slipped to a disappointing home defeat to Rotherham.
A fine long-range effort by Mark Lynch which gave Barry Roche no chance put the Millers ahead with just eight minutes gone

Ryan Taylor slammed home from 18 yards on 40 minutes from Mark Hudson's pass to double the away side's advantage at Christie Park.

Neil Wainwright pulled a goal back from Wayne Curtis' left-wing cross with 13 minutes left.

But Lynch sealed the points for the visitors with a last-minute strike to leave Morecambe with just a point from their first two league games.

Morecambe: Roche, Parrish, Bentley, Artell, Adams, Carr, McLachlan, Hunter, Wainwright, Howe, Blinkhorn.

Subs: Davies, Curtis, O'Carroll, McCann, McStay
