Woman's body found on fire

An investigation has been launched after a 30-year-old woman's body was found on fire near a Wirral sports centre.
Police were called to The Oval in Old Chester Road, Bebington, at 10.23pm on Monday after a member of the public spotted the woman ablaze.

A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "Inquiries have begun into establishing the events leading up to her death. Early indications suggest that the death is not suspicious."
