Man denies murder of newsagent

A man has denied the murder of a newsagent shot dead in his store in Liverpool but admitted attempting to rob the man and possessing guns and stun guns.
Yemeni shopkeeper Abdo Saeed Al-Selwi, 53, was shot after opening his newsagents in Huyton on May 31 this year.

Ronald Higgins, 37, of Stonefield Road, Knotty Ash, denied one count of murder.
