Four charged after BNP demonstration

Four people have been charged with "racially aggravated" offences after a demonstration outside the British National Party's 'Victory' rally in Lancashire.
Liam Pinkham, 21, of Leeswood Road on the Wirral, Merseyside; Michael Hayes, 22, Henderson Road, Widnes; Michael Heaton, 41, of Mersey Street, Leigh, Greater Manchester, and a 16-year-old from Widnes, have all been charged with racially aggravated intentional harassment in connection with a disturbance outside the New Kimberley Hotel in Blackpool on Saturday.

Pinkham was due to appear before Blackpool Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

The rest have been bailed to appear before magistrates in the resort on Friday, July 3.
