Sentencing of a man hailed a hero for saving a policeman, but later convicted for wasting police time, has been adjourned.
Tom Bardsley, 24, was recommended for a bravery award after coming forward to say he helped drag an officer away from a mob of Glasgow Rangers fans who were attacking the policeman following the Uefa Cup final in Manchester last May.
