Salford-based triple gold medal winner Chris Hoy has met the Prime Minister for tea at the British Embassy in Beijing.
The Olympic hero, now known as "the flying Scotsman", was invited to a reception hosted by the University of Edinburgh.

Hoy and Gordon Brown, who both attended the university, had tea with Principal Professor Sir Timothy O'Shea and Britain's ambassador to China Sir William Ehrman at the embassy.
