A man accused of owning a gun used by a teenager to shoot his 12-year-old sister dead is set to go on trial.
In May last year Kasha Peniston, 16, accidentally killed his sister Kamilah while playing with a gun at their Gorton home.
He was jailed for two years.
His mum Natasha Peniston, 33, was jailed for three years for possessing an illegal firearm.
Kertman Grant, 42, of Church Lane, Camberwell, London, will face a jury at Liverpool Crown Court.
Grant denies owning the gun.
