Mystery lottery winner has not yet claimed big prize
The clock is ticking for a mystery lottery winner in Lancashire, who has just one month left to claim a prize worth £114,939.
The search is still on to find the owner of the winning ticket, who matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on 20 February 2010. With just a month to go National Lottery players are being urged to check and double-check their tickets for the chance to claim this life-enhancing prize in time. The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 8, 24, 27, 31, 34, 36 and the bonus ball was 19. The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Thursday 19 August 2010 to make their claim.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to charity. A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the last minute to claim the money. We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding.”
