Entries are now open for young women and teenagers to take part in the Miss North West GB Beauty Pageant.

The beauty pageant does not just focus on physical beauty but also showcases physical and mental beauty alongside the achievements of the young women.

A spokeman for the competition said; “Beauty pageants in 2012 have been developed to promote young women and their accomplishments and to help build confidence and self awareness.

“Young women find that being part of world renowned pageant is a great opportunity to become positive role models for others, and a chance to open doors for all women around the world.

“Once the girls have qualified for the final they are challenged to raise money and awareness for the children’s charity The Joshua Foundation - a wonderful charity that raises money to give children with terminal cancer once in a lifetime experiences.”

You must be aged from 13 - 18 years for Miss Teen International Great Britain and must be aged from for 19 - 29 years for Miss Great Britain International.
