Young talent in the spotlight
The 10th anniversary show celebrating Blackpool casting agency and theatre school Scream Management gave young singers and actors a chance to show off their talents .
And what better to see on arrival at the Grand Theatre than posters for Quadrophenia which featured actor Sean Croke – who is represented by Red Door Actors Management, part of the Scream family.
As a prelude to the show video footage of success that these youngsters have had on stage and screen was shown with clips from various TV productions.
The show opened with songs from Mary Poppins led with strong vocals from Sophie Worsley as Mary with back-up from other Scream Students.
Disney stars Brad Kavanagh and Samantha Dorrance, who are known to many youngsters and adults as the faces of such programmes as My School Musical, My Camp Rock and popular Disney show As The Bell Rings, then introduced the proceedings.
Screaming Babies teacher Victoria Manchester choreographed the next number from the Jungle Book with all the youngsters dressed up as animals dancing to the Disney classic songs
before Brad returned to perform Here I Am, as featured on the Camp Rock Sound Track.

Oliver which led into 15 year old Eden Kippax's impressive rendition of As Long As He Needs Me
Next up was John Paul Bell's
portrayal of Mikey from Blood
Brothers with Henry Cox as Edward. Emmerdale star Kelsey-Beth Crossley played Mrs Johnston with a rare
confidence and talent.
Act one ended with the company performing the song Joyful, Joyful made famous in the Whoopi Goldberg film Sister Act 2 and excellent vocals from Ellie Danson, Jessica Harwood and Abby Percival plus rapping from Alex Boyne and Tom Macleod.
Act Two opened with a tongue in cheek performance of Chicago's Cell Block Tango featuring Scream managing director Tracey Bell with Eastenders and River City star Jacqueline Leonard, Scream drama teacher Sarah Stone, dance teacher Vicky Small and show director Helen Tolson.
Copycat Kids followed with tributes to Girls Aloud, Blondie, Justin Timberlake and the Spice Girls as well as The Beatles courtesy of Matthew and Harvey Mondryk, Jordan Kennedy and Matthew Fitzgerald and Take That in the form of Ashley Lloyd, Tom Macleod, Mitchell Percival and Alex Boyn with Lulu vocals recreated by Jessica Bell taking time out from filming the St
Trinian's sequel.

original West End cast member Ashley Lloyd
