Teenager charged over vandalism at cricket club
A teenager has been charged in connection with a string of incidents at a Gloucestershire cricket club in which cars were vandalised and fuel siphoned off.
The 19-year-old man from Stroud was arrested after vehicles parked at Frocester Cricket Club on June 29 were targeted.
An offender took petrol from a black Citroen Saxo and attempted to siphon fuel from a grey Mitsubishi.
The two cars, along with a blue Citroen Saxo, also had paint sprayed over them. The offender made off after being disturbed by a member of public.
The arrested man is charged with two counts of criminal damage and one count of theft from a motor vehicle. He will appear at Stroud Magistrates' Court on September 4.
