13 COVID-19 related deaths recorded in Lancashire in latest figures

A total of 1,216 people have now died in hospital in Lancashire after contracting Covid-19.

The latest figures from NHS England show 13 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded in Lancashire in today's figures (Monday, November 9).

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust recorded eight fatalities in today's figures.

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust recorded five deaths.

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust - 314

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 318

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust* - 247

* Note: As well as the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, this trust also runs two hospitals outside Lancashire - Furness General Hospital, in Barrow, and Westmorland General Hospital, in Kendal - so it is not possible to say how many of the deaths were in Lancashire.
