Record crowds made the most of the weekend sunshine at the Great Eccleston Show in Lancashire.
More than 30,000 people attended the event over two days to watch farmers and their livestock compete for the honour of best in show.

Rural life was also on display as farmers, shepherds and craftsmen showed off their skills.

And one of the highlights of the show – which is now in its 155th year – was the tractor pulling, with competitors travelling from all over Europe to take part.

John Rogerson, president of the Great Eccleston Agricultural Society, said: "This was one of our best years ever."
