Sparks fly this autumn at the world premiere production of Flashdance – The Musical which reaches Manchester's Palace Theatre next week.
Based on the hit movie it's a familiar musical storyline about holding on to your dreams and love against all the odds.

The show includes the smash hit Maniac, along with Manhunt, Gloria, I Love Rock 'n' Roll and the award winning title track Flashdance – What a Feeling.

Set in Pittsburgh, it tells the story of 18-year-old Alex, a welder by day and 'flashdancer' by night, whose dream is to obtain a place at the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy.

The show stars Bruno Langley (Coronation Street), Bernie Nolan (The Bill, Brookside), Noel Sullivan (Hear'Say) and Victoria Hamilton-Barrit as Alex.

The choreography comes courtesy of Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips.
