The one and only Alan Partridge is back.
Steve Coogan has brought his highly-popular fictional television and radio presenter back to life on the stage as part of his first stand-up tour for 10 years.

Of the many characters invented by Manchester-born Coogan, Norwich-based television and radio presenter DJ Partridge is the most famous and best remembered.

In his shows, which included "Knowing Me Knowing You", a spoof chat show, and "I'm Alan Partridge", the DJ is depicted as being insecure and superficial.

But he is not the only character relived by actor, impressionist and comedian Coogan on his UK tour, which began at the start of this month and ends in mid-December.

Ex-roadie Saxondale, and Paul and Pauline Calf are among the other offerings.

"Steve Coogan is Alan Partridge and other less successful characters" is at King George's Hall in Blackburn on Friday and Saturday nights, and Liverpool Echo Arena on Sunday and Monday.

And he is back in the North West next month when he will play several nights in Manchester and two at the Blackpool Opera House.
