Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre kicks off its packed autumn season on Thursday, September 4 with a critically acclaimed piece of theatre starring Roger Llewellyn.
Described as a wryly-humorous tale of murder, mystery and the occult, The Death and Life of Sherlock Holmes is a one-man fantasy ... based on fiction.

The author of the Holmes mysteries, Arthur Conan Doyle tires of his famous sleuth and creates arch villain Professor Moriarty to dispose of him.

But Doyle's obsessions with the spirits of the dead clashes with those of his fictional creations, who return to thrill, intrigue and mesmerise the audience.
