It's not just the older folk who enjoy a good boogie, now the little ones are getting in on the act with Music Baby! sessions at The Lowry in Salford.
The first dance party for under-fives left toddlers asking for more – and that's what they will get when top DJ Mr Scruff and friends take to the decks on Sunday, September 7.

The three-hour afternoon party takes parents back to the heady days, when the kids weren't the only reason they were awake at 5am.

As for the playlist, think Minnie Riperton instead of the Macarena and classic Sesame Street rather than Teletubbies.

To a backdrop of visuals, babies will be encouraged to boogie by a dance teacher with specially created games.

Stockport-born Mr Scruff, who got his first DJ break in 1994 at Manchester's Dry Bar, is now known internationally as a DJ, producer, cartoonist and tea drinker.

Music Baby! is being held at The Lowry on Sunday, September 7 from 1-4pm.

Tickets are priced at £10, £7.50 or £30 for a family ticket. Prices include healthy nibbles for kids and tickets must be booked in advance.

Music Baby! is also being held on Sunday, October 5 and Sunday, November 2.
