Britain's hardest working band, The Subways, are back on tour with a new single set to bid for the charts.
They visit Manchester Academy on October 12 to promote their new album All Or Nothing, which is out now. Their latest single, I Won't Let You Down, was released last week.

New York alternative rockers The Walkmen have announced five UK dates to support their new album, You and Me, which is out at the end of September.

Flamenco guitar virtuoso Juan Martin, is to visit Morecambe's Platform this week.
The celebrated guitarist, a native of Andalusia, will play in the resort on Thursday, September 11.

Scottish stars of Preston's Big Weekend, The View, have announced a 35-date tour of intimate venues across the UK.

Hungary's finest musical exports, András Schiff and the Budapest Festival Orchestra are to open Manchester's Bridgewater Hall's International Concert Series on October 5 with a recital of music by Beethoven.
