Superstar singer Josh Groban has given one of only a handful of UK interviews to a Lancashire radio DJ.
The American songwriter, who has sold 25m records worldwide, recorded a chat with Jon Christos for the DJ's weekly BBC Radio Lancashire show.
Jon's interview with Josh was the only one the Grammy-nominated artist gave to the BBC, as part of promotion for his new album, The Collection.
Jon, a classical tenor singer who has recorded two albums in West Orange Studios in Ashton, Preston, said: "It was a coup, really.
"I'm an admirer of Josh's and he knows of me and my music.
"I always like to talk to other artists because you get an honesty with them. In the industry, they may get a lot of standard questions whereas I approach it from an artist's point of view."
Jon has also lined up Irish singer Chris de Burgh and Simply Red star Mick Hucknall for interviews on his show.
His three-part interview with Josh will be broadcast from 4pm to 6pm on BBC Radio Lancashire on Sunday.
