Preston's own Latino rockers Vencidos could through to the final of a national competition to support 1990s Britpop stars Dodgy - with your help.
The band, who evolved from longtime Preston favourites Los Vencidos, have got down to the final 10 in the contest run by newspaper Metro in conjunction with national gig venue chain Barfly.

They were among hundreds of unsigned bands to upload tracks on to MEmusic.co.uk, Metro's online music site, for listeners to vote for - and their track Son of the Sun was voted into the Top 100 from where a panel of judges chose the final 10.

Now they need your votes to make it to the final five. A live play off will decide the winner who then get to join Dodgy on their forthcoming seven-date Barfly tour in Birmingham, York, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Cardiff.
