A Leyland DJ is swapping his decks for a desk, and heading back to college.
Colin Ford, 36, of Woodlands Drive, has filled dance floors in some of the country's top nightclubs during his 20-year career.

But now, after his expensive DJ equipment was stolen twice, Colin has decided to head back to the classroom and has enrolled with Preston College.

The former Worden High School pupil, who will study a BTEC Diploma in music technology, said: "I used to go to warehouse parties and I loved the music.

"I will be doing a diploma to begin with, but I hope to go on to get my degree as I love music and this is a great opportunity."

Colin is hoping to pass on the skills he learns in the classroom to teenagers living in Leyland who have an interest in music.
