Streets Alive season in Morecambe
SHOPPERS in Morecambe will find their feet tapping this summer as musicians take to the streets for More Music's Streets Alive
season.
Streets Alive will see musicians and entertainers appearing around the West End of Morecambe on eight Saturdays from July to September.
Funded by Winning Back Morecambe's West End, the season of great live music aims to encourage people to visit the West End, as well as providing lively entertainment for residents and shoppers.
Streets Alive is part of the year-round series of live events in the West End that includes the West End Festival, Catch the Wind Kite Festival, and the stunning Christmas Lantern Festival.
Acts appearing include More Music's carnival band, Baybeat, 'Fastest One Man Band in the World' Pete Moser, The Matt Robinson Jazz Trio and harpist Rachael Gladwin.
The performances will take place in the middle of the day, roughly between 11am and 1pm.
