Soul club making Ocean waves

HOT on the heels of bringing in Wayne Hemingway as a guest DJ, Morecambe's Seaside Soul Club have pulled off another big coup.
The club will provide the warm-up for the Ocean Colour Scene gig at the Dome on August 1 and also an after-gig party in the Waterfront Bar with more details to come shortly.

But prior to that, the Seaside Soul-ers will host their monthly soul session at the York Hotel in Morecambe this Saturday, playing all the great soul sounds from the 60s through to 2008.

Admission is free and the event runs from 8.30pm-1.30am with a late bar. The club also provides a Soulful Sunday warm-up session on August 24 for the Goldsoul Togetherness – www.goldsoul.co.uk – all-nighter at The Carleton that night.

Club DJ Sean O'Connor will host another north west special on Sunday, July 27 on Solar Radio, available on Sky Channel 0129 – www.solar
