Grand's Rat Pack swings into life

DEAN Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Junior were paid tribute to in this show by three talented singers.

Wayne Kennedy came on first and sang in Dean Martin style, complete with glass in hand. He introduced his fellow performers Frank Sinatra (Roman Marek) and Sammy Davis (Patrick Kumah).

They performed many songs which were made popular by the trio.
I found this show a little disappointing. The programme gave the impression that there would be a special guest and dancers but these were missing.

Frank Sinatra was portrayed by an understudy who only occasionally managed to sound like him.

Although the performers sang well and the musicians played well, the rapport on stage was not quite as smooth and relaxed as it could have been.
