Preston's tiny tots are putting their best feet forward – or rather their unwanted shoes – to help the needy.
A city centre children's centre and nursery is acting as a collection point for the Shoe Aid for Africa campaign running from October 13 leading up to Child Poverty Day on Friday, October 17.

Collection bins will be located for the week at Stoneygate Children's Centre in Stoneygate Walk so that people can drop off their unwanted shoes.

Shoe care experts Kiwi are launching a campaign to change lives across Africa and will take old shoes, smarten them up, and redistribute them to African school children, who have never owned a pair before.

All costs are totally funded by Kiwi so that both adult and children's shoes can be given out for free.
