Kind-hearted year 10 pupils from Lostock Hall Community High School and Arts College saw red to raise money for International Aid Trust.
The charity supports Eastern European countries by sending out humanitarian aid and medical treatment, sponsoring poor families and supporting orphanages.

The pupils swapped their traditional school uniform for red garments and hosted fund-raising events at break and lunch time. These included creating a conga dance around the school, Teachers Weakest Link, fancy dress, nail and face painting, along with leg waxing and sponsored silences.

The year group are also collecting unwanted toys, toiletries, stationary, food and sweets to gift wrap for needy people at Christmas.
