High school stages West Side story

More than 100 pupils and staff at Lostock Hall Community High School brought a tale of star-cross'd lovers to the stage with the Leonard Bernstein musical West Side Story.
Brenda Dean, assistant headteacher, said: "This production has stretched the pupils in terms of their dance, drama and music skills.

"They have more than met the challenge."
