The University of Central Lancashire has teamed up with the groundbreaking new school Futureworks.
The project will see the university and the Manchester-based school offering a full time three year BA honours degree course in music production.

Futureworks boasts some of the most sophisticated music production equipment in the country and is the only degree course in the UK to offer official training on Digidesign Pro Tools and Apple Logic.

The course will educate pupils in the fundamental principles of sound engineering, creative composition, sound design and audio post production.

The course starts in September and potential students need to have 200 UCAS points and be able to demonstrate a passion for music and a desire to learn.
