Coronation Street fans bid against each other to buy a share in the soap's history at the Coppice School's Summer Fayre in Ash Grove, Bamber Bridge.
The school, which has 66 pupils with special needs, auctioned off the script for Steve and Becky's wedding as part of their summer fund-raising event.

The comedy script raised around £70 of the overall total of £1,000 raised at the fair.

Fayre organiser Sarah Seddon, said: "It was all taken in good spirits – there were a few people trying to outbid each other.

"It was a great day and a chance for everyone to get together.

"It was a lovely atmosphere."
