Concert to aid needy students

University songbirds are hoping to hit a high note when they join forces with school pupils to raise money for needy students.
The University of Central Lancashire Chamber Choir will be performing with Runshaw College Chamber Choir, Millfield Science and Performing Arts College Choir and Preston's Harris Primary School Choir .

The concert will boost the coffers of the university's Harris Bursary Fund which helps financially and socially disadvantaged students in Lancashire.

The concert will be held in the Darwin Lecture Theatre at 7pm on November 19. Call 01772 892385 for tickets.
