Scores of school pupils took part in a workshop aimed at boosting their employment prospects.

Nearly 80 students who are in years 10 and 11 visited County Hall in Preston to find out more about future courses, as well as ways of getting into employment.

The Get Hired2 event was run by the Preston Provider Partnership with advice from a range of organisations including on the Future Horizons programme.

County Coun Mark Perks said people gained a lot from the events.
