New sentence for drugs man

A man has been re-sentenced after failing to observe the terms of his community order. John Hunt, 23, of Marset Place, Preston, did not attend Preston Magistrates’ Court which gave him a curfew.

Yob breached restrain order

A man has admitted to breaching a restraining order.

Anthony Embery, 22, of Lowndes Street, Preston, admitted the offence at Preston Magistrates’ Court.

Sentencing was adjourned.

In court

A man who breached the terms of a restraining order has been punished.

Barry Graham Hook-Dale, 61, of Hargreaves Court, Ingol, pleaded guilty to entering a home in Penwortham and got an 18 month supervision order and told to pay £85 costs.

Magistrates said they had taken his guilty plea into account.

He was also given further time to pay a previous unpaid fine of £265.

Man accused of bomb hoax

A man accused in connection with a bomb hoax will appear at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday.

Jann Nirmal, 38, of Mendip Road, Leyland, is accused of a bomb hoax offence, placing an article with intent, and public nuisance, in an incident on March 26.

Policewoman was attacked

A 46-year-old woman who assaulted a police officer has received an 18-month conditional discharge.

Elaine Heap, of Cordwainers Court, Buckshaw Village, near Leyland, admitted attacking a policewoman in Leyland on July 28 at Chorley Magistrates’ Court.
