The Rotary Club of Leyland and the Lancashire Gujarat Health Users Forum will together present the first Leyland Health Mela on Saturday September 22.

The Health Mela (meaning a “get together” or “fair”) is designed to promote the health and well-being of the citizens of Leyland.

Visitors will be able to meet representatives from around 50 health related organisations providing free information, advice and health checks in a festival atmosphere with entertainment and refreshments.

Entrance is free and free transport is available from Leyland railway station and town centre.

It will take place between 11am and 6pm at Leyland Civic Centre.
