A HOST of activities to ensure children have an action packed Easter break have been organised in Lancaster.

Lancaster Council has set up two weeks of sports, art and adventure activities that will keep children from four to 16 busy during the holidays.

There’s ice skating, archery, wakeboarding, skiing, golf, fishing, football coaching sessions and a FIFA 13 XBox Challenge at Salt Ayre Sports Centre.

Activities kick off on Monday April 1 and run until Friday April 12 and there’s loads to choose from.

Copies of the holiday programme are also available from Lancaster and Morecambe Town Hall, Salt Ayre Sports Centre, the council’s community pools at Heysham, Carnforth and Hornby and from Lancaster museums.

All sessions are in a fun and safe environment and run by experienced coaches.

Full week, full day and half day activities are available.
