The non-executive directors of Preston Vision Ltd, the new company which will replace the city's Vision Board, include the head of a leading handbag and accessories company, a former Preston North End chief executive and specialists from the tourism, construction and aerospace industries.

It will be led by a full-time chief executive and a chairman, interviews for which took place last week, who will to be appointed before the summer.

The group will have its first meeting at the city's University of Central Lancashire next Monday, May 11.

The non-executive directors are:

Roger Best
Chief executive of Radley & Co., the premium handbag and accessories brand, wh lives in Grimsargh, near Preston.

Nigel Blenkinsop
A senior engineer and manager with BAE Systems who site director at its base in Samlesbury, near Preston and director of manufacturing in its Military Air Solutions Division.

Jim Carter
Chief executive of the Eric Wright Group Ltd in Bamber Bridge and chairman of the management board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Peter Church
Chief executive of Blackwater Bars with a background in the leisure and entertainment industry.
From 1997 to 1999 he was the Chief Executive of Preston North End plc.

Chris Earnshaw
Currently operations manager at the flagship John Lewis store in Liverpool, he was a member of the former Vision Board.

Jeremy Gorick
Worked for Preston-based Liquid Plastics and it's parent company, the Iotech Group for over 30 years before selling it to Swiss firm Sika earlier this year.
He was a member of the former Vision Board.

Lesley Lloyd
Chairman of the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board and vice-chairman of the Lancashire Economic Partnership.

Andrew Thompson
Director of development and planning at Manchester-based development consultants DTZ with over 30 years experience in the public and private sectors, with specialist expertise in planning, strategic land, physical and regeneration and expert witness work.
