Students help boost profits

Students at Lancaster University's management school are offering their services free of charge as part of short-term projects for their postgraduate and undergraduate courses.
In recent years, students from the university have added £3m in new sales and improved profitability to firms.

Placements officer Sandeep Sanval said: "Experience has shown that the companies that make use of student resources tend to be amongst the fastest growing and most adaptable."
