A property firm which runs a Lancashire industrial estate has announced its fee income has smashed previous records.
RH Property Management Ltd, the management arm of North West property firm Roger Hannah and Co, saw income leap to £13.5m, a rise of 25% on last year.

The firm manages nearly 2,000 tenants in more than 250 properties throughout the region, including the Old Mill Industrial Estate in Bamber Bridge, near Preston.

Company spokesman John Somerville said the record was "a fantastic achievement" when the commercial property industry was struggling for profitability.

He said: "A combination of factors has led to this achievement, including acquisition of new management properties and successfully negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews for our existing management contracts."

The company said its results had been built on the strong performance of its office and retail portfolio throughout the region, in particular properties in south Manchester and Cheshire, at the start of the year.
