A national hotel chain is looking to recruit 20 staff for its new £4.5m building in Preston.
Legacy Hotels and Resorts is close to recruiting a new general manager for the 75-bedroom Preston International Hotel on Marsh Lane, and will then recruit other staff.

Operations director Kevin Skeet said work was on course to be completed by October: "The first phase of the inside work on the property which includes a number of bedrooms has been completed.

"We have had a huge number of high-calibre candidates apply for the general manager post and once we have one we will then start looking to add the rest of the staff."

The seven-storey hotel, which is the firm's first new build hotel, will have 75 en-suite bedrooms, two meeting rooms, a bar and reception and 40 car parking spaces.
